About my dad

My dad died last week and I felt it important to share a bit about him. Here’s a video. Kinda heavy, don’t feel obliged :*)

Dear Larry:
I am a good friend of your sister, Colleen. I knew both your mom and dad prior to knowing Colleen way back in 1970′s. I have been present to your father’s journey in the past 2 weeks through Colleen and of course have been in Mississauga to be beside Colleen as well as family at the Visitation and funeral Mass.
I deeply missed hearing a Eulogy at the Mass for your father…when I mentioned this to Colleen she indicated that you had done a Utube. I just finished tenaciously searching the Web until I found it. I am so grateful for your Utube presentation about Des, your father. I needed to hear this wonderful culmination of his life. Today I still felt in a blurr, pining a need to hear the fullness of all that he was….and you have done that in your Utube. I, of course, offer my condolences, but I also offer my deep gratitude that you offered this Utube about your Dad ….. for me it is very necessary and expresses his greatness in my eyes and in my experience of him and his family. I am in awe of Des but also in great awe of the whole family that he and Agnes have formed from their great lives…
